Delivery Hero publishes its first ever Diversity and Inclusion Report

  • For the first time, Delivery Hero provides insights into key areas of its Diversity and Inclusion strategy during 2020 and 2021 in a new report 
  • By sharing knowledge and experiences, the company wants to contribute to the public discourse and facilitate discussions that help set standards for the industry

Berlin, 31 May 2022 – Delivery Hero SE (“Delivery Hero”), the world’s leading local delivery platform, today published its first ever Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Report. The report covers the years 2020 to 2021, and outlines the company’s approach to D&I, its achievements and the impact it hopes to make in the future.

D&I has always been central to our work. Diverse perspectives and backgrounds are key enablers for the speed and quality of our innovation. At Delivery Hero, we believe in the power of people’s differences. It is individual experiences and unique ways of looking at a challenge that drive our business forward. We want to build an environment where everyone feels welcome, where representation is championed and where people can thrive.

Covering the key areas of Delivery Hero’s D&I strategy during 2020 and 2021, the report provides insights into the company’s initiatives and programs that are aimed at increasing representation, enhancing equitable structures and systems, and promoting inclusive behavior. By sharing these experiences, Delivery Hero wants to contribute to the public discourse and facilitate discussions that help spur solutions, setting standards for the entire industry.

As an industry leader, we at Delivery Hero have a responsibility to initiate and drive important conversations. We want to be a role model for others – not only by creating an inclusive environment internally, but also by contributing to the public discourse. This includes sharing our knowledge and progress, as well as our setbacks. While we are very proud of our initial steps, we know that we are only at the beginning of our D&I journey. Looking ahead, the report also provides an outlook on Delivery Hero’s future plans to build scalable solutions in order to create an environment in which all employees can flourish, advance their careers, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
